The self-named Rain Hannele Pendergast-Satan (scientific name: Proserpine Clothilde Lilith Pendergast) are commonly found in the wild, as several attempts to domesticate it have failed. Mostly docile, unless provoked, they may be found nesting in mountain glens, day- dreaming beneath weeping willows, or frolicking through tall grass meadows. Their diet consists entirely of honeyed almonds on apple slices.
Many doubt the existence of this elusive creature, recently discovered to have descended from formerly thought to be extinct species, the magnificent L. morningstar and the sly D. pendergast, but further field investigation has proven that this creature is a myth no longer. One such sighting occurred on October 15th, 2003. Alfred J. Hibbs, awake at 5:32 a.m. due to a pesky back injury, spotted this creature slinking through the early morning mist. From that day forward, the sightings have only increased in number, leaving scientists debating whether or not precautions should be taken. While this creature is extremely friendly in most environments, territorial aggression is alarmingly high. Should it be approached by something it views as a potential threat near its home, it is liable to lash out and cause a tremendous amount of damage. The current agreed-upon action is to appease it with brightly-colored trinkets, but this method has not been fully tested.
